“Our local churches are really the key element in this being a successful fundraiser for us,” stated Executive Director Amy Bergstrom.” The CCH Board of Directors along with Bergstrom reached out to churches to help cover the cost of bring the troupe in. “To date, we have six churches (Mosinee United Methodist, Good News Church and St. John Lutheran in Mosinee, Mt. Calvary in Rothschild, New Day in Weston and Highland Community Church with locations in Wausau, Marathon, and Weston) who have signed on to sponsor at a minimum of $100 each. We even had a local pastor and his wife who aren’t currently leading a church, send funds to help us out! We are just $300 short of our sponsorship goal, but we have reached out to a few more churches and pastors. I’m confident we will get there!”
